The bass area really biting in the Potomac River this Thanksgiving week. Today we caught over 30 beautiful bright green largemouth that were feeding at the edge of the grassbeds and on hard cover such as rocks, fallen trees and docks. The water temperature is now around 49 degrees. The great news is that the bass have adjusted are are actively feeding. All the bass we caught today had big fat bellies and will put a very hard pull on your line. Slow moving plastics fished in about 1-5 feet of water are working well and small profile spinnerbaits fishing slowly will hook you up with some nice bass. Bundle up warmly and head out to the river this week to experience some of America's finest bass fishing on the Potomac. All have a blessed Thanksgiving and remember to lend a helping hand to someone in need this week. I look forward to seeing you on the water soon. Catch a big one!
